| School Holiday Classes |
School holiday fashion classes are great fun for those between 8-18 years of age. They will learn basic techniques and very quickly produce their own garments. So whether you are a beginner or experienced we can help you get the confidence to make the trendy outfit that looks like you paid a fortune for.
Requirements: Sewing Machine and Accessories e.g. Pins Scissors Tape measure ect. Sewing project help for this is available at the store so please feel free to come in and get our assistance. Sew machines are available for hire if required. Booking is essential.

| Sewing Club |
This class is the class that is for everyone. You are able to make whatever your heart desires. You can work at your own pace with no pressure to keep up with anyone. If you want to make one garment or many garments our qualified teachers are there to help and advise you whatever your needs. This is a relaxed, interactive class so, if you are looking for a group of ladies with the same interest as you and like to learn new techniques as you go you will enjoy this class. | Learn Your Overlocker |
Is it time you learnt exactly what your wonderful machine does to make sewing life easy for you. We will show you exactly what each thread does, how it is formed and many other things you can do, like attach elastic, go around corners, rolled hems and flat locking. You need to bring your overlocker, cord and anything that came with it.

This is a class that gets your sewing skills started or a refresher course if you have not sewn for a while. Wouldn’t it be great to have a file made up of all the different techniques you use in sewing to refer back to them when you need to? Well I have, and these files have my notes and how to do each technique in my own words so I can understand them. In this class you learn so much about sewing and all the tricks of the trade, once again it is the same old story, once you know how, it is easy. Techniques 1 was very popular last term so please be early as numbers are limited. Sample Patterns Included.

Once you have achieved beginners or sewing Techniques 1 this class is to add to your skill levels even further. You will learn additional Techniques for example different collars, pockets and much, much more. You will appreciate the time you put into learning how to when someone asks you where did you buy that something special you are wearing, you can confidently say I created it myself, you will be the envy of the group. If you are a confident sewer and wish to improve your skills, try something a little different and learn the techniques of the professionals. Sample Patterns included.

We will be having an open quilting and patchwork class this term. You can choose any of Jannie’s quilts or a project of your own. Zip Class
Zips can be very tricky to put in if you have not been shown the easy way. There are many different type of zips, dress zips, trouser zips invisible zips and jacket zips! We would like to invite you along to do a hands on class on how it insert these zips the right way.

If you are unable to come to any of our pre arranged classes we are happy to make a time that suites you and have a one on one class. These are very productive classes as you can go at your own pace. You have the complete attention of you teacher.
Cost is $65 per two hour lesson
Or 5 2 hour lesson for $270.00
Pre bookings and payment in advance of class is essential.
